1. Data controller

Content Seed is operated by Tripping Cats OÜ, a company registered in Estonia (VAT no. EE102709953), with its registered office at Sepapaja tn 6, Lasnamäe linnaosa, 15551 Tallinn, Harju maakond, Estonia. For any questions regarding your privacy, contact us at hola@contentseed.app.

2. Data we collect

We collect the following information:

• Account data: name, email address, and authentication data, managed through our authentication provider, Clerk.
• Payment data: billing information processed securely by Stripe. We do not store card data.
• Generated content: the inputs you enter and the content generated by the AI, stored to show you your history.
• Usage data: seed counters to manage your plan and quotas.

3. How we use your data

We use your data to:

• Provide and improve the Service.
• Process payments and manage your subscription.
• Show you your generation history.
• Send you notifications related to your account or usage.

We do not sell or share your data with third parties for marketing purposes.

4. AI processing of your content

When you generate content, the inputs you provide are sent to third-party AI providers — currently Anthropic, and potentially OpenAI — to produce the requested output. These providers act as our processors and, under their API terms, do not use your inputs or the generated content to train their models. We send only the data needed to fulfill your request.

5. Service providers

To operate the Service we work with trusted external providers that may process data on your behalf:

• Clerk — authentication and user account management.
• Stripe — payment processing and billing.
• Anthropic — AI content generation (processes your prompts).
• OpenAI — AI content generation, where enabled.
• MongoDB (Atlas) — database hosting and storage of your account data and content history.
• Resend — transactional email delivery.

These providers only access the data necessary to perform their functions and are bound by data processing agreements and confidentiality obligations.

6. International data transfers

Some of our providers (including Anthropic, OpenAI, Clerk, Stripe, and MongoDB) are based in or process data in the United States or other countries outside the European Economic Area. When we transfer personal data internationally, we rely on appropriate safeguards such as the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses.

7. Cookies

We use essential cookies required for authentication and to keep you signed in (set by our authentication provider, Clerk). We do not use cookies for advertising. You can control cookies through your browser settings, though disabling essential cookies may prevent you from signing in.

8. Data retention

Your generation history is kept while your account is active. Account data is likewise retained while the account remains active. You can request the deletion of your account and data at any time.

9. Your rights

Under the GDPR and applicable law, you have the right to:

• Access your personal data and obtain a copy.
• Rectify inaccurate or incomplete data.
• Request deletion of your data (the right to be forgotten).
• Restrict or object to certain processing.
• Request portability of your data.
• Withdraw your consent at any time, where processing is based on it.

To exercise these rights, contact us at hola@contentseed.app. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority (in Estonia, the Data Protection Inspectorate / Andmekaitse Inspektsioon).

10. Security

We implement reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your data against unauthorized access, loss, or disclosure. However, no system is completely secure.

11. Children's privacy

The Service is not directed to individuals under 18 years of age, and we do not knowingly collect personal data from them. If you believe a minor has provided us with personal data, contact us and we will delete it.

12. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes by email or through a notice in the Service.
